New teacher

So...last night I found out that the SOS College has hired a new art teacher! I am very excited about this because now I will be able to see how people actually teach art in Africa! Now I believe that I will get even more from this experience. Last night we didn't do much of anything except go to the store for some phone cards and to the pharmacy for Julie. She has a crazy looking rash on her arm and we're not sure what it's from, but we do know that it is spreading a bit. She'll be alright though...she's our Momma Dush! We've nominated her as our Mother here because she just has that quality. Every house has a Mom so we figure that we should too. All of the kids in the village call me Auntie Kristie...it's adorable! I'm so glad that the group that I came with is full of friendly, understanding, and most of all fun people! It really helps when you have great people surrounding you!

Hey sis - Happy Halloween! I took some pics of the kids for you and I will send them ASAP. Your pumpkin is cool. What do the symbols stand for? We (Kev) carved a Tiki God for our pumpkin. Connor calls it the "Ring of Fire" pumpkin from Nemo. We miss you and can't wait to hear all about your experience. Enjoy your time and soak it all up ~ you are so lucky to have this opportunity! Much Love!
Hi there, we miss you so much here. The pictures are awesome and the people look so happy. Im glad your having a great time. Do they celebrate halloween in africa? Talk to ya soon.
Hi Honey -
It was so good to hear your voice tonight. I am still smiling brightly and just high spirits right now. Totally different emotions since yesterday! WOW technology is the greatest ever and I am so lucky to be able to have this to take advantage of it. It sure helps dad and I sleep alittle bit better at night when we hear your wonderful voice. You sound so happy and loving every minute of it. The children there at the village are so very lucky to have SUPERWOMAN there. And we couldn't be more proud of you!
We love and miss you!
LOVE YOUR MAMA
I love your pictures. Cant wait to see your new dress.
If you can I would like maybe an awesome wood necklace or bracelet if you could. Not to worry though if you have alot of packages etc to come home with. Or give me some suggestions of what you think I might like since you have seen so much already. I would love a surprise!
I LOVE YOU SO VERY MUCH!
Still smiling!!!
Keep up the great work!
Love your mama
Maybe the rash is sun poisoning. Did she go to a clinic there in the village to check it out?

Hey soccer-jawia! Show those kids how to get that soccer ball down that grid iron and in to that basket for that home run. Then tell em where you learned all your sports lingo. I love you!! Can't wait to talk again tomorrow.
